“I can accept failure, everyone fails at something. But I cannot accept not trying.”
– Michael Jordan.
The PE subject leaders at Willow Farm are Miss Orridge and Mrs. Jamson and we love helping children enjoy being active. Miss Orridge grew up loving athletics and netball, while Mrs. Jamson was a keen swimmer and cross-country runner, so PE has always been an important part of our lives. We believe PE should be fun, inclusive and challenging, helping children to live our PRIDE values. Our curriculum develops skills, teamwork and confidence through games, gymnastics, dance and athletics. We teach PE through active, engaging lessons, supported by specialist TB Sport coaches, and we are proud that our pupils talk confidently about what they have learned and have the opportunity to enjoy our after-school sports clubs and take part in inter-school competitions.
In 2025, we were proud to have been reaccredited as school games platinum award holders, which is the highest accolade. More details on this award can be found here Your School Games – School Games Mark
