Party in Robin Hood's Bay

Our Year 6 Lions have returned from their action-packed residential to Robin Hood’s Bay – and what a time they had! From beach art masterpieces and rockpool discoveries to dramatic cliff-top walks, they made the most of every moment.
After exploring the beach and warming up with a short walk to the famous Boggle Hole (no boggles spotted – phew!), the real challenge came on day two: a stunning 7-mile hike all the way to Whitby. The Lions showed real determination and teamwork throughout, with plenty of laughs, snacks, and support along the way.
That evening, the fun continued with the much-anticipated talent show, where one group stole the spotlight by performing their own version of Party in the USA – rewritten as “Party in Robin Hood’s Bay!” It was a brilliant end to a joyful day.
Throughout the trip, every child showed our PRIDE values – they were Positive, Responsible, Inquisitive, Determined, and Empathetic. They truly were a pleasure to take away and represented Willow Farm brilliantly.
Well done, Lions – we’re so proud of you!
